Electric Car V/S Fuel Car

Topic Index -

So, in this article, we are going to discuss electric vs petrol cars. I am going to tell you which car is best for you in terms of reliability, availability, and service and I am going to give you a comparison between them.

INTRO -

Let's take a similar car which comes in petrol and electric, In our list, we have Tata Nexon xz+AMT and Tata Nexon EV. Nexon xz+ AMT petrol is a complete package because it's top of line variant and comes with the competitive price of Rs.13.59 lakh on-road Delhi, and NEXON EV is on the higher side it will cost Rs.17.69 lakh, So let's check out which one is best and more practical for you, I am gonna take all the necessary measure which will make you choose which one is better for you.

Deference -

The major difference is one runs on petrol and the other one runs on battery, which one is to buy? Tata Nexon EV runs rs1/km while on another hand Tata Nexon AMT Petrol gives 17.2 liters of mileage in 1 liter of petrol which is claimed by ARAI, Here I take Nexon amt because both have the same feature and the same wheelbase everything is same, Both built on the same platform. Now let's talk about mileage, So the Tata Nexon petrol AMT gives you 17.2 liter of mileage and on the other hand, Tata Nexon EV will take only 1Rs/Km, Now you think it's best but NO

the Nexon EV takes 8 hours to fully charge with normal chargers when we charge it at our home, it will take 8 hrs and if you charge on the electric station it will take less than 60 minutes and runs above 300 Km which is claimed my ARAI but in real life, you can extract 250 Km, And with full tank petrol you can run 756.8KM well that's impressive but in real life with traffic and all you will hit 630 Km, I am also a Nexon owner And I did around 650Km at speed of 100km/hr, now the point is there is not much charge station and it is having a range of 250, So, as of now don't look for mountain trips and other long trips, if you are buying Nexon EV. But after 5 years there will be electric stations at every petrol pump because petrol is a non-renewable resource, and the price is hiking month by month. Now let's talk about the maintenance

after 50,000km the Tata Nexon EV will cost you ₹3,727 as you see the Nexon EV wins in maintenance as well as in low per km charge, But what if you wanna go outstation you have purchased an SUV and you will look to go for a long trip in mountains or wherever you wanna go but now there are only a few charging stations how will you manage we are in 2022 and it's a starting of the electric vehicle!  In this way, petrol is far better because we have petrol pumps in every corner of our country in mountains, beachside everywhere and we have mechanics for petrol in every city, every market.

Availability -

Look, both are made in India cars, So you don't have to worry about availability And Tata
Nexon is a demanded car with high sales every month but it is also a reason of waiting period of these cars, the
Nexon EV is the cheapest electric car in the Indian market
but because of its high demand and low maintenance, it has
a waiting period of 6 months and for the Nexon AMT xz+
petrol has a waiting period of 4 months.

Which One Is For You -

One mistake some people do which is they see others like has bought that car I also want that one, Look you both aren't the same you have different needs and you have to do research on which car is fit for you and comes in your budget So, first thing first if you need a car for a daily city drive, without any reason the EV is best for you because it will be pocket friendly in the long traffic, and if you are the guy who is looking for a second car the EV will be a great choice. but if you love traveling or you are looking for long trips with your new car the Nexon petrol will be the great one. If you work where you have to travel a lot you have to go for petrol because it will be more stressful because you have a petrol pump everywhere so have no need to worry.
